A Two-Player Strategy Showdown

Overview

Maggots is a fast-paced, 2-player (local) strategy game where you and your opponent battle for supremacy in a dynamically evolving universe. Whether you choose to conquer a pre-existing universe or craft a new one from scratch, the battlefield is yours to command. Engage in intense skirmishes as you lead one of three distinct factions:

• Maggots
• Humans
• Robots

Each faction boasts a unique roster of 12 characters, 12 weapons, 10 distinctive team badges (totems), and a progression system featuring 12 ranks. The path to victory is paved with strategic decisions, as winning battles not only advances your rank but also unlocks increasingly powerful weapons and other items for your faction.

Maggots

Take control of the relentless Maggots, a faction that thrives on decay and destruction. Command units like the venomous Larva, the insidious Swarm, and the all-powerful Overlord. Arm your forces with gruesome weapons such as Acid Spit, Necrotic Tendrils, and the devastating Void Burrow.

Humans

Lead the battle-hardened Humans, a faction of disciplined warriors and tactical experts. From the sharpshooting Scout to the commanding Warlord, each unit brings something lethal to the table. Equip them with an arsenal ranging from the versatile Pistol to the earth-shattering Orbital Strike.

Robots

Dominate with the cold efficiency of the Robots, a faction built for war. Control the precision-engineered Drone, the towering Titan, and the fearsome Omega. Unleash cutting-edge weapons like the Pulse Blaster, Particle Beam, and the cataclysmic Singularity Cannon.

Totems and Progression

Choose a totem to represent your team, from Wood to Onyx, each symbolizing your prestige and skill level. Progress through the ranks, starting as a mere Private and rising all the way to LEGEND. With each victory, you'll unlock a new weapon that will give your team the edge in future battles.
